On April 30, 2014, Anhui Yuteshuang Energy Saving Technology Co., Ltd. and a Guangxi Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. signed an intent agreement on the energy management project contract for sintered waste heat generation 25mw condensation turbine.

A certain Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. is located in Liuzhou, an industrial center in Guangxi with convenient water and land transportation in southern China. It is an important steel production enterprise in South China. Since the establishment of the company, the company has continued to develop rapidly, with an annual comprehensive steel production capacity reaching 10 million tons. Sales revenue has increased from 2.2 billion yuan in 2001 to 37.1 billion yuan in 2010, and its total assets have reached 18.5 billion yuan. It ranks 98th among the top 500 Chinese enterprises released by the China Enterprise Federation in 2011. The company includes 10 functional management departments, 7 production plants, 4 branches, and 10,000 employees.


After six months of follow-up, this project has made significant progress. For this project, this project has analyzed the relevant processes and deeply understood and discussed with relevant technical personnel. Combined with the operation data of on-site steam turbine and heat recovery system, comprehensively analyze the root causes of energy consumption waste, master the types and quantity of energy consumption of the project, analyze the energy consumption level of the project, compare the energy consumption level with the domestic level and industry access conditions, and then make technical demonstrations and propose a new process transformation plan. According to national industrial policies and planning requirements, the rationality, feasibility and advanced process technology of the project's energy utilization are evaluated to ensure the rational use of energy and energy conservation of investment in fixed asset projects. Make accurate analysis and positioning of the energy consumption recovery ratio, and finally make energy-saving and benefit-based analysis.

Project situation overview:
This steam extraction and condensing steam turbine was successfully put into production on January 20, 2006 and is grid-connected to generate power with a rated power of 25MW and is currently operating at 21.058MW/H. This unit is a 3,000-turn traditional model. Its production technology has not been updated and upgraded for decades. Its design structure leads to high vapor consumption, which is prone to aging, and the power is prone to attenuation. It has been nine years since its operation. The equipment flow part has been severely aging and the gas consumption is large, which is the main reason for the low power generation efficiency.
1. The steam produced by the company's thermal power plant can meet the steam demand for this turbine, but due to the large steam consumption of the equipment itself and the attenuation of the equipment efficiency, the power production efficiency is low.
2. After on-site inspection, the unit is not put into production for a long time. Generally, the life of the steam turbine is about 20-30 years based on the design demonstration and industry product characteristics. The steam leakage in valves and pipelines is not very serious. The main reason for the high steam consumption of the turbine is due to the backward flow structure of the turbine.
Therefore, it is necessary to combine the existing equipment system of the power plant, and to upgrade the steam turbine generator sets in a systematic manner, replace it with high-efficiency and energy-saving steam turbines, and add a new set of C25-8.83/3.82 extracted condensing steam turbines to increase the safety, flexibility and stability of power supply in the power plant, and achieve the expected goal of maximizing the electricity and steam demand produced by Liuzhou Iron and Steel Company.
For this project, we replaced high-efficiency, energy-saving and high-speed turbine with high efficiency, and a new C25-8.83/3.82 extraction and condensing turbine was launched. All working conditions of this new equipment were designed according to the original working conditions of the original unit. There are two reasons:
1. Easy to implement the contract energy management cooperation model, and use the original parameters as reference objects for energy conservation certification;
2. Do not allow the owner to make auxiliary investments, such as considering increasing the intake of steam, etc., and only replace the point of insufficient efficiency (the original turbine body part);
Project plan 1. New steam pipelines, high and low voltage distribution cabinets, some DCS systems, motor protection, side power transmission and transmission systems, and a new C25-8.83/3.82 extraction and condensing steam turbine are needed to be replaced during the annual maintenance period of the old unit (2 months).
Project reserve plan 2: It is recommended to add another steam turbine generator set to cover an area, and plan to redesign some pipelines, and a new C25-8.83/3.82 extraction and condensing steam turbine is placed next to the original unit. In this way, the construction and debugging of the project contractor will not be affected, the continuous production of the owner will not be affected, and the potential project risks of the owner will be reduced. After the new unit is operated normally, the old equipment unit will be removed at the same time. Other aspects remain unchanged.
The newly renovated steam turbine is a high-speed energy-saving steam turbine. The turbine does not have a heat recovery system. The power plant's heat recovery can use the original heat recovery to meet the needs of the boiler's water return temperature. The construction and installation of the new steam turbine generator set will not affect the normal operation of the original system, and the new unit will not increase the power supply of the power plant after the operation. The new unit, including civil engineering installation, is expected to be completed for 12 months. The production period is about ten months, and the normal operation of the original unit will not affect the construction period. The construction period is less than two months. It will not affect the normal production of the owner and will not affect economic benefits.
Under the same working conditions, the power generation of the newly added high-efficiency energy-saving steam turbine generator set is 24.132MW per hour, and the actual hourly power generation of the original unit is 21.058MW. The new unit generates 3074KW more electricity per hour than the old unit. The energy-saving effect is mainly due to the lower steam consumption of the new unit than the old unit. Under the same working conditions, the same amount of steam is done more work. The superiority of the new unit structure effectively ensures that the efficiency in the unit will show a slight attenuation trend during long-term operation, and will not be obvious within ten years.
Based on the operating time of 8,000 hours a year, the local industrial electricity price is calculated at 0.56 yuan/kWh, which can generate 13.7715 million yuan in economic benefits each year, which is very considerable.
The calculation formula is as follows:3074*8000*0.56=137715 million yuan.This budget is tax-excluding price.
This project is followed up by Anhui Yuteshuang Energy Saving Technology Co., Ltd., including project docking, diagnosis, feasibility study and technical plan formulation, financing, project pre-implementation, etc. This project has enabled investors and energy-consuming units (steel companies) to generate considerable economic benefits, save coal resources and reduce carbon dioxide emissions for the society, and make positive contributions to the construction of a saving and friendly society in Liuzhou!
