The first "Scenic Integration" zero-carbon smart logistics park in China is under construction

On September 6, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Nike distributed wind power project was held at the Nike China Logistics Center in Taicang City, Jiangsu Province. At the groundbreaking ceremony, Nike officially announced the launch of the construction of distributed wind power generation projects at the China Logistics Center, and worked together to "Zero carbonTechnology partner "Vision Technology Group promotes low-wind speed wind power and zero-carbon digital technology. The project is completed and put into use as planned in early 2023. At that time, Nike China Logistics Center will achieve 100% renewable energy power coverage, and Nike China Logistics Center will also become China's first "wind-scenic integration" zero-carbon smart logistics park.

Nike China Logistics Center is Nike Group's largest logistics center in Asia. It has a construction area of 260,000 square meters and an annual throughput capacity of over 240 million pieces. Since its in-use and expansion in 2010, it has continuously minimized environmental impacts from facility energy conservation, operation optimization and product transportation. The first, second and third phases of the center have obtained LEED . Green Building Platinum and Gold Certification respectively. Currently, 45% of the energy used in the center comes from a variety of renewable energy sources such as solar energy, geothermal energy and biomass energy. This wind power project will help Nike China accelerate the achievement of the strategic goal of "100% renewable energy power for its own self-operated facilities in 2025".

This project is the first approved distributed wind power project in Taicang, Jiangsu Province, and it is also the first new energy project to connect the wind and light complementary self-invested and self-used power to the grid. It breaks through many difficulties in the development, approval, grid connection, and transaction of distributed wind power projects. The project is operated by Vision Construction and will install two single-unit wind turbines with a capacity of 3 megawatts. After it is officially put into use, the annual power generation is expected to reach 14 million kilowatt-hours.

As Nike's zero-carbon technology partner, Vision will continue to utilize its own green energy and digital platform advantages to provide Nike with comprehensive zero-carbon solutions.
