"Now, after the waste incineration generates power, a scientific treatment model of waste reduction, resource utilization and harmlessness has been achieved."

The first phase of Bao'an Energy Ecological Park was completed and put into production in December 2005, with 1,200 tons of garbage per day; the second phase was put into production in December 2012, with 3,000 tons of garbage per day, and was the first to win the National Quality Engineering Gold Award. It is the only 3,000 tons/day waste incineration power plant in the world to be built and put into operation at one time, setting a world record for continuous and long-term operation of a single furnace for 431 days. Incineration of waste and power generation not only reduces the amount of direct landfill of garbage, but also uses the combined supply of heat and electricity to heat the steam after the steam turbine to the surrounding factories and give back to the community, and supply 320,000 tons of steam to the outside world every year to realize energy recycling.

This is the wastewater filtered out after domestic waste is left to stand and fermented, representing the various stages from dirty to clear during the filtration process. Zhong Rigang introduced that about 70% of the wastewater is filtered and processed into reclaimed water, and then transported back to the power plant for reuse. 25% of the concentrated water is extracted from industrial salt by evaporation and crystallization, and the garbage water is recycled in the park.

Bao'an Energy Ecological Park will also be built into a technical training base and museum for the waste treatment industry, and will popularize the harmless treatment processes and processes of domestic waste for citizens.
