National Energy Group Guohua Electric Jinjie Power Plant's first high-level steam turbine generator set is implemented to achieve double investment within the year

Polaris Thermal Power Grid News: 21:00 on December 31,National Energy GroupUnit 6 of the third phase of the Guohua Power Jinjie Power Plant was officially put into operation for 168 hours and was officially put into production. This is another important achievement of the factory after Unit 5 was put into production on high standards on December 23. It marks that the two 660MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired generators independently developed and built by my country and applied the world's first high-level steam turbine layout technology have achieved "double investment" within month and year, and all have been transferred to commercial operation, creating a new model for my country's power station design, manufacturing, and construction development, and making positive contributions to the successful completion of the national "13th Five-Year Plan" for air pollution prevention and control.

Xue Yusheng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, stability theory and power system automation expert, commented: "The complete set of independent innovative technologies arranged at high positions in the Jinjie Phase III project steam turbine generator set has explored new technical solutions for my country to build clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient power production, which will effectively enhance the international competitive strength of my country's power industry and is of great significance to implementing the '3060' carbon goal and building a new development pattern that promotes mutual promotion of domestic and international dual circulations."

After witnessing the successful production of the world's first high-level layout project at the project site, Sun Rui, deputy director of the General Institute of Electric Power Planning and national engineering survey and design master, said: "The successful practice of the first high-level layout innovative design of the air-cooled steam turbine generator set of the Guohua Jinjie Phase III project has created a new way for thermal power units to be more efficient and economical, and will surely play a good role in promoting the innovative development of my country's power industry."

Since the third phase expansion project of the factory's No. 5 and No. 6 units officially started construction on May 28, 2018, under the strong leadership of governments at all levels and superior companies, all participants have adhered to the construction goal of "strive to create the National Quality Project Gold Award". With the responsibility of "success does not have to be with me, the project must have me" and the great courage of "the more difficult it is, the more forward it is", we have insisted that the goal of putting the dual-machine operation within the year will not waver. Carry forward the spirit of struggle, enhance the ability to fight, effectively control various safety risks brought by innovation in high-level layout structures, and bravely climb the peak of power construction, ensuring the high-quality promotion of construction of the project. Especially since 2020, the factory’s Party Committee has adhered to the leadership of the Party, strengthened Party building, and solidly promoted the “one defense and three guarantees” work, and made every effort to overcome the difficulties of the construction period of 7.5 months that affected the construction period of the 7.5 months in the two winter construction and the COVID-19 epidemic, achieved double investment within the year, exceeding the annual engineering construction goals and tasks assigned by superiors, and made positive contributions to solidly do a good job in the “six stability” work and fully implementing the “six guarantees” tasks.
