Polaris Power Network learned that the 2024 "Improve quality, efficiency and return" action plan recently released by Guodian Power shows that from 2020 to 2023, the company's newly added new energy installed capacity doubled year by year, reaching 270,000 kilowatts, 890,000 kilowatts, 3.15 million kilowatts and 7.25 million kilowatts respectively. In 2024, the company plans to acquire more than 14 million kilowatts of new energy resources, approve 12 million kilowatts, start construction of 8.3 million kilowatts, and put into production of 8.6 million kilowatts, laying a solid foundation for the completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan for the new installed new energy capacity of 35 million kilowatts.

The company will continue to play the role of various national-level R&D platforms, vigorously carry out research on emerging industries such as shared energy storage and "new energy +", actively cultivate future industries such as CO2 conversion fuel, thermal power-dip methane, and form more new quality productivity. Continue to give full play to the outstanding advantages of coal-fired power and new energy joint ventures, and the promotion of large-scale base development and construction, strengthen win-win cooperation with the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, focus on developing good consumption, excellent resources, large-scale, and base-based projects, and create a new pattern of new energy development "onshore base promotion, surrounding radiation of water and fire, coastal scenery extension, and overseas three-line layout".
