The project adopts the most advanced secondary reheating technology at present, and the estimated coal consumption for power supply is 264 grams per kilowatt-hour. On September 8, the supporting energy storage station of the EPC project of Huaneng North Shangdu million-kilowatt-level wind power base, contracted by Huaneng Qingneng Institute, was successfully topped off. The Shangdu Energy Storage Project is a 300MW/600MWh energy storage power station built for Huaneng North Shangdu million-kilowatt-level wind power base. It is the first large-scale energy storage power station in the North China Power Grid and an empirical base for various forms of energy storage such as decentralized control, centralized control, high-voltage cascaded direct-hanging and station-house-style. The construction scale of the second and third phases of the project is 200MW/400MWh. It adopts the refined dispersed energy storage technology independently developed by Huaneng Qingneng Institute. It innovatively uses the layout method of station-style energy storage systems, and pioneers the waste heat of the thermal power plant into the battery system to achieve efficient thermal management.
