Xin Baoan pointed out that with the deepening of the "dual carbon" process, the energy system is undergoing a systematic and fundamental change, which is highlighted in four aspects:

The coupling of energy systems is becoming increasingly close, with electricity as the center, and various energy sources such as electricity, hydrogen, gas, cold, and heat complement each other and comprehensively utilize each other. The power grid shows a pattern dominated by a large power grid and a combination of multiple power grid forms;

The energy industry ecosystem has been upgraded, and the deep integration of digital technology and energy technology has given birth to a large number of new businesses, new business forms and new models such as comprehensive energy services, energy big data, platform business, and energy aggregators.

Xin Baoan said that to achieve the "dual carbon" goal, energy is the main battlefield and electricity is the main force, and it is urgent to build a new power system. State Grid Corporation took the lead in releasing and implementing the "dual carbon" action plan and the action plan to build a new power system to charge a better life and empower a beautiful China.

First, adapt to the platformization of energy allocation and innovate the development mode of power grid. Continue to improve ultra-high voltage and grid grids at all levels, continuously optimize the grid development pattern, and have a cross-regional and cross-provincial transmission capacity of more than 250 million kilowatts. The company has built and put into operation the world's first large power channel mainly for the transmission of clean energy in Qinghai.

The company's new energy grid-connected capacity in the operating area reached 580 million kilowatts, and the installed capacity of pumped storage power stations under operation reached 83 million kilowatts. The electricity substitution is implemented safely and orderly, and the cumulative replacement of electricity exceeds 1 trillion kilowatt-hours, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions of 1.05 billion tons. Actively guide users to use energy efficiently, green and energy saving.

Fourth, adapt to the integration of energy innovation and create a source of original technology. Vigorously promote collaborative innovation and initiate the establishment of a new power system technology innovation alliance. We have comprehensively strengthened independent innovation and achieved a number of world-leading original results, and ranked first in central enterprises for 11 consecutive years. The company is actively building a new power system demonstration zone in Qinghai.

Fifth, adapt to the digitalization of energy industry and strengthen the construction of energy Internet.
